Our beautiful rural retreat, The Kingfisher, sits perched above the Bechan Brook at the base of an old grassland field. It has a fabulous wood fired hot tub with electrically powered jets and air that comfortable seats 4 guests. The luxury lodge is tastefully furnished ,including underfloor heating, everything you need for a log cabin holiday. Below the pet friendly lodge is a large open space with picnic tables and fire pit. A perfect space for families to relax and play. A slope to the brook allows access for paddling or wildlife spotting of Kingfishers, Dragon Flies and Trout. Cattle and sheep graze the pasture behind the log cabin retreat and often watch guests enjoying the hot tub. Beyond this pasture is an old woodland, home to many woodland animals including the majestic Red Kite and night time travellers of badgers and foxes which have been seen frequently , searching for food in the evenings. If your canine best friends are joining you, we have a secure paddock for ball throwing and play.

There are many lovely local eateries close by including tea rooms, bistros and quality restaurants. Woodland walks can start from our lodge retreats, with many more fun activities and places to visit in the local area and Wales as a whole.

If simply relaxing and taking in the beautiful countryside is on the agenda, you can enjoy sitting on the elevated balcony suspended over the Bechan Brook or lounge on the large patio with fire pit and patio furniture. Not forgetting unwinding in the hot tub with a glass of fizz.

The Kingfisher log cabin with hot tub is perfect for a romantic getaway, activity base or peaceful hot tub break. The perfect place to get away from it all.
